This year Wayne State University, is the main host of DHack 2018, the Detroit Hackathon! It’s replacing HackWSU which ran annually for the past 3 years. It was always open to ages 11 and older and heavily targeted towards Detroit youth, college students, and citizens but this year Wayne State University Library Systems, Techstars Startup Week Detroit and AngelHack is bringing Detroit’s hackathon to…..Detroit! These three organizations have committed to bringing computer coding technology as well as entrepreneurship over the last few years, the rename is the natural next step.
