Faris Alami is the founder and CEO of International Strategic Management, an international technology company in which he works with international companies on technology, leadership, entrepreneurship and culture programs. In addition, Alami is a consultant with the WorldBank as an "Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Expert and Special Advisor." He also works with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses at Wayne State University and Babson College, along with other local and global programs.

Alami also works with several business incubators/accelerators and has supported the launch of more than a dozen of these platforms globally. He has managed over 100 start-ups and planned, managed and directed entrepreneurial training, talent and several international initiatives (programs).

A certified FastTrac Facilitator for Kauffman Foundation's internationally recognized Entrepreneurial Training program, Alami also Runs a Global Trade Mission program for High Schools students. The program teaches students how to launch a global technology company (an entrepreneurial global technology experience). Alami mentors University of Michigan MBA students and serves on the Board of several organizations.

The road to business excellence began for Faris when he started a marketing company in Tucson, Arizona at age 18. Since that time, and in increasingly demanding roles, he has served nonprofit organizations, five-star resorts, national marketing companies, fledgling companies, and major department store chains, and lent his expertise to service, wholesale and retail companies. Under his management, one client company experienced a 1300% increase in membership. Another reduced product returns by 58%, and a third company cut employee turnover by 92%.

Frequently requested as a speaker by agencies, Faris presents topics such as: Entrepreneurship, International Business, Generational Diversity in the Workplace, Cross-Cultural Differences, Strategies for Employee Retention, and Bringing Peace to the Middle East.
